Where I spent most of my trip ^^

Instead of waiting for a terminal to be open, it is common practice in europe for planes to land on the tarmac, and taxi to an open area. 2-3 shuttle busses transport the passengers from the plane to the airport. So this was my first view of Ibiza

Inside of the airport.

These were actually free! At LAX, they charge you $4 for the cart.

Protect your purses!!

“0” is the ground floor. Good to know. I was looking for an “L” or “M” for like 10 minutes.

I hope no one buys this

Oh yes she did!

Is this Pau Gasol?

Finally! I havent posted the pictures from Ibiza because my computer was down.
So, I arrive in Barcelona and meet my friend who is currently living there. She tells me about how everything is soooo expensive in Barcelona, and how guys never treat you, they expect you to go dutch. I was like… mkay! Lets party!
We went to the Plaza de Catalunya in Barcelona where they were protesting the current high unemployment rate.

I went to The Lauryn Hill concert at Club Nokia in LA on Monday, April 17, 2011. Doors opened at 8:00. We arrived at 9:45 and a lot of people were just sitting on the ground waiting. There weren’t many complaints, just a bunch of anxious women in too small shoes. Around 10:30 the DJ comes on getting every one pumped, playing old school hip hop.
10:50 is when Lauryn came on. Just like many negative reviews have previously stated, she changed EVERYTHING about her songs. The tempos were sped up and the usual sultry sound of the acoustic was traded with an electric bass.
She kept urging the crowd to “sing along sing along” but its hard to sing along when the melodies dont even sound the same anymore. She was also bugging the hell out of the sound and light men, and was conducting her band with scolding looks and arms flailing wildly as she sang. It was Rock Band: Lauryn Hill Classics.
I was getting upset, until she sang/rocked out to Ex-factor….then we all cried. All in all, I didnt pay for the show, so I hold no anger. I LOVE her. intensely. I mean, I was beside myself. I cried like a prepubescent Beiber fan. She says shes finally coming out with new music, and I cant wait to hear it.
Either move or be moved.
